8:30PM - 9PM - HAMAS IN AMERICA / DR. LORENZO VIDINO
The shocking surge of extremism and antisemitism observed on American college campuses and streets since October 7, 2023, is neither spontaneous nor organic. Rather, it is the latest iteration of a strategy crafted some 30 years ago by individuals like Musa Abu Marzook, currently a top Hamas leader and back then a PhD student in Louisiana, and other Hamas senior members when they lived in the US and established a web of contacts and entities that, largely unchallenged by the US government, have grown over time. Based on internal Hamas documents and evidence used in federal prosecutions, the presentation explains the evolution and tactics of this network, highlighting key players, narratives, and recent activities. It also looks at Iranian and Hezbollah networks in America, including their propaganda, educational and campus-related activities.
